Product Specifications:
1. FLOOR CONSTRUCTION
STANDARD CONSTRUCTION:
- Intermediate frame: aluminium system lattice frame (120 mm longitudinal beams, 80 mm cross members connected with brackets preventing cracks at the cross member-longitudinal beam junction).
- The intermediate frame edge profile: a system aluminium anodised profile screwed to the cross members with brackets and connected at corners with internal aluminium corner connectors designed and proprietary to KBH Akord.
- Cargo securing points mounted in the edge profile, in quantity dependent on floor length.
- Body floor: anti-slip waterproof plywood 15 mm screwed to the intermediate frame (standard up to L=5500 mm), 18 mm plywood (standard for L>5500 mm).
OPTIONS:
- Reinforced intermediate frame: aluminium system lattice frame with double quantity of cross members.
- Cargo securing points: mounted in the edge profile, in quantity according to customer requirements.
- Anti-slip waterproof plywood 18 mm upon customer order regardless of body dimensions.
- Alternative intermediate frame covering: e.g. plywood with ribbed aluminium sheet on top.
- External brackets supplied loose (sets of 10 pieces, 4 springs, enlarged washers and bolts with nuts).
- Wheel arches and mudguards sized according to customer requirements.
- Wheel arch mounting system matched to ordered wheel arches.
- Anti-cyclist guards matched in length to the vehicle model. The guards are aluminium anodised profiles finished with semi-circular anodised profile preventing snagging on the guard, profiles screwed to hinged galvanised steel brackets.
2. FRONT WALL
STANDARD CONSTRUCTION:
- Aluminum dropside identical to side dropsides or solid at 400 mm height plus 3 ribbed boards (aluminum profiles measuring 200 x 20 mm mounted to steel pockets for ribbed boards).
- Vertical reinforcements on the external side (aluminum C-profile with 5mm walls) to the height of the dropside, screwed to the wall and at the bottom to the longitudinal beams.
- Reinforcements of 1600 mm height for every type of high wall.
OPTIONS:
- Aluminum dropside as above with plywood mounted above to height agreed with customer.
- Aluminum dropside constructed from system profiles to 1600 mm height and above aluminum ribbed boards.
- Aluminum dropside constructed from system profiles to full body height.
- Aluminum dropside constructed from system profiles to full body height covered with tarpaulin.
- Any other front wall infill agreed with customer e.g. mesh.
3. SIDE WALLS
STANDARD CONSTRUCTION:
- Side dropsides, aluminium, anodized at 400 mm height with vertical locks.
- Steel hinges (cast) minimum 3 pieces per dropside.
- Detachable middle post, lightweight steel.
- Front and rear posts aluminium.
- Pillarless system. Side and rear dropsides connected together with locks enabling unrestricted access to the floor after lowering the dropsides.
OPTIONS:
- Pillarless system. Side and rear dropsides connected together with locks enabling unrestricted access to the floor after lowering the dropsides.
- Possible increase in number of side posts, according to agreement with customer.
4. REAR WALL
STANDARD CONSTRUCTION:
- Rear dropside 400 mm from profile like side dropsides, finished with vertical locks and always mounted on 3 hinges.
- Fold-down step, riveted to the dropside on the right side from inside. When opened and unfolded enables entry onto the body.
